Why did we choose CORNWALL ?  

Cornwall, the most south westerly county, has some of the best weather in the UK. Its only border is with Devon, the river Tamar runs between them. Cornwall is famous for Cornish pasties, tin mines, china clay, Celtic crosses, clotted cream teas and holidays.  

As most of you know, we have both been married before. We wanted this wedding to be different from our previous ones and special to us. We had considered getting married abroad because it would be wonderful to be by the sea (great photos!), but felt that it would be too lonely as hardly anyone would be able to be with us to share the day.

 
We both have family spread apart in different areas of the country, so even if we chose Coventry, Birmingham or London, it wouldn’t suit everyone. We have enjoyed some lovely holidays in Cornwall and we knew that some of you had too. We both love the countryside in Cornwall and there are also beautiful beaches in St.Ives. We were looking forward to a real break away from the rat-race and spending some time with our family and friends.
