This
was the wedding web site that we set up to let everyone see where we
were going, and help them find places to stay and to visit if they
were joining us on the day.
We
knew it was far for everyone to go to get to St. Ives in Cornwall, but
we were hoping that our friends and family would use it as a good excuse for a break by the seaside and some
relaxation in the beautiful countryside.
Over
50 guests joined us in the end, most of them came for the whole week
and some even stayed for the week after. Some of our guests enjoyed
Cornwall so much that they have returned for holidays there since
the wedding.
We
returned to St. Ives for Marianne's birthday in April. We stayed at
the Sloop Inn on the harbor front, which some of you will be more
familiar with than others after Bill spent most of his stag night in
there!
St.
Ives will always remain close to our hearts, as not only did we get
married there, but it also turns out to be the place where our first
baby was conceived!
