In
April we decided to go on holiday to St. Ives for Marianne’s
birthday. We stayed at the Sloop Inn and our room had a lovely view
over the harbour. Each morning we had a full English breakfast in
our room sitting at the little table next to the window.
You
may wonder why I’m talking about St. Ives on Rory’s page, but it
turns out that nine months after we were there, is when our little
man was born. It really is a truly wonderful and magical part of the
country for us.
RORY
ROBERT THOMAS VERNON was born on 31st December 2006
weighing 9lb 2 1/2oz (4160g) at 6.55am.
We
chose Rory as a name together. It is a traditional Celtic name and a
name that is not in the top 100 so it’s quite original. Robert is
after Bill’s Dad and Thomas is after Marianne’s Dad.
We
think he has his Mums eyes and lips and his Dads ears and nose! We
have put some baby photos of us on so you can make up your own
minds.
