We
chose Tregenna Castle, situated on a hill overlooking the town, as the venue for our wedding ceremony. The wedding breakfast
was held in the Godrevy Room with its beautiful views out to sea and the Godrevy lighthouse.
The ‘castle’ is actually a hotel and although the hotel rooms are quite expensive, there are extensive grounds that have very nice self catering cottages that people can hire for a short break or for the week. All the facilities of the hotel are available including indoor and outdoor pools, a gym and discounts off the restaurant prices. There is also a very good crèche for those of you with young children. Be aware, there is a bit of a walk down the hill to the shops and beaches.
